Ingredients

Denver Omelet
Butter: 2tablespoons
Green or red bell pepper: 1
Chopped cooked ham: 1cup
Milk: ¼ cup
Cheddar cheese: 1 cup (4 ounces)
Eggs: 8
Powdered black pepper and salt to taste.

Preparation:

The dish can either be prepared in oven or in a cast iron skillet. Place the skillet on fire and put butter to melt over a medium low heat. Put onion and bell pepper into it and cook for 5 minutes. Stir it in between till they become soft. Add ham to the mixture and again cook for 2 minutes. Remove the cooked ingredients from the heat.

Take a big bowl. Put eggs and milk in it. Beat the eggs till the mixture becomes soft and fluffy. Stir in the cheese. Heat the skillet and put the eggs along with the other ingredients in the skillet. Cook it till it is light brown from one side. Then turn over and lightly brown the other side. It is read to serve cut into wedges and serve hot.
